A 30-year practitioner of yoga and meditation, lifelong academic, a graphic artist, Eric Shaw MA.RS, MA.SE, MA.AS, ERYT500 is an international teacher of yoga history, philosophy and practice who passionately adapts the ancient traditions to modern understanding. He is widely celebrated for his elaborate visual presentations, provocative writing, and unique approaches to the work of the body. His essays appear in Yoga Journal, Common Ground, Mantra Yoga and other magazines, and he is the creator of the teaching modules of Yoga Education Through Imagery and Prasana Yoga’s Alignment-in-Movement system.
